The National Association of Broadcasters has named Janet McGregor as the organization’s COO and CFO.
In her new role, Ms. McGregor will oversee various departments within NAB, including conventions and business operations, science and technology, information technology and administration. She will also help membership in the TV and radio departments.
“Janet’s experience and abilities will greatly benefit our organization, employees and the broadcast stations and networks for which we advocate,” NAB President and CEO David K. Rehr said in a statement. “I am looking forward to her leadership on the executive team and the guidance and expertise she brings from her years of experience in the private sector.”
Ms. McGregor spent 26 years at Lockheed Martin Corp., where she was most recently president and CEO of the Lockheed Martin Investment Management Company overseeing the investment of pension assets.
Ms. McGregor will officially begin her new role Nov. 3.
