NBC is shaking up its lineup, with “Life” trading slots with “Lipstick Jungle,” while the premiere of the Ryan Seacrest-produced “Momma’s Boys” gets pushed back until December.
“Life,” which had solid showings behind “Heroes” on Monday but hasn’t done much in terms of ratings in its regular Friday 10 p.m. slot, will move to “Lipstick Jungle’s” Wednesday 10 p.m. slot starting Nov. 5. Also premiering on that day is the newest season of “Law & Order,” shaping the night into a crime-solving lineup.
“Jungle” starts airing in “Life’s” 10 p.m. Friday slot starting on Oct. 31. Since its premiere last month, “Jungle” has declined steadily in adults 18-49.
“Momma’s Boys” is now slotted for a premiere on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 10 p.m., after the finale of “The Biggest Loser.” “Momma” moves to its regular time slot, Mondays at 9, starting Dec. 22, filling in for “Heroes” after the end of its current volume on Dec. 15.
Originally slated to start at the end of October, “Momma’s” was pushed back to Wednesday, Nov. 12, before this move to a Monday slot.
