HD programming picks for Oct.2-8: “The Ex List,” “The Ex” and “Next”
“The Ex List” (CBS) Friday, Oct. 3, 9 p.m.: A woman, played by Elizabeth Reaser, is told that she has one year to find her true love or she will spend the rest of her life alone. Here’s the catch: She’s been involved with her true love previously. “List” is based on the 2007 Israeli series “Mythological X.”
“The Ex” (Showtime HD) Sunday, Oct. 5, 11:30 a.m.: “Scrubs’” Zack Braff stars in this comedy about an underachieving loser who gets a job with his wife’s ex-boyfriend (Jason Bateman), who sets out to one-up Mr. Braff at every turn.
“Next” (Starz) Monday, Oct. 6, 3:50 p.m.: A man who can see into his own future is hunted by the government for his powers. Nicolas Cage and Julianne Moore star.
