HD programming picks for Oct. 30-Nov. 5: Election coverage, “30 Rock,” “The Game Plan”
Election 2008 (Various). Tues., Nov. 4. The trials and tribulations of the campaign trail lead to the first Tuesday in November, and various networks will be covering every aspect. Cable news nets CNN and Fox News will have 24-hour coverage in HD, while the broadcast networks start cranking out coverage starting at 7 p.m. EST.
“30 Rock” (NBC). Thurs., Oct. 30, 9:30 p.m. Hot off her appearances as Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin on “Saturday Night Live,” Tina Fey returns with her Emmy Award-winning sitcom. In the season-three premiere, Ms. Fey’s Liz Lemon is looking to impress an adoption worker, played by Megan Mullally.
“The Game Plan” (Starz). Sun., Nov. 2, 9 p.m. ET. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars in this family comedy about a glitz and glamour pro quarterback who finds out he has an 8-year-old daughter.
