Warner Ups Kantor in Marketing

Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution promoted Susan Kantor to the newly created position of executive VP of marketing for both WBDTD and Telepictures Productions, overseeing the company’s unified domestic marketing structure for broadcast and cable TV.
Earlier this year, the former Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution division and its sales and marketing operations were merged with WBDTD’s.
As part of the restructuring, Ms. Kantor has hired Debbie Brunner as VP of creative and Clint Manny as VP of marketing, and has named Warner Bros. veteran Maury Leitner to the newly created position of VP of marketing and advertising. Also, Shelley Clark has been named manager of promotion.
In her new role, Ms. Kantor, who previously was senior VP of marketing for both WBDTD and Telepictures, will have oversight of all domestic trade and consumer marketing and advertising campaigns for WBDTD programming, and in addition will support sales efforts for WBDTD, Telepictures and Warner Bros. Media Sales. She continues to report to WBDTD President Ken Werner.
