Fine Living Network will premiere the original dating series “Wingman” on Feb. 10.
The half-hour show follows dating-challenged men and women, who will be guided by standup comic Michael Somerville.
Mr. Somerville is also a relationship columnist, penning Glamour’s monthly column “Jake (A Man’s Opinion).”
“Dating is funny. There are all these single, successful, beautiful people hanging out in bars, gyms and dog parks together,” Chad Youngblood, general manager of FLN, said in a statement. “So why are they all still single? When we first met Michael, we realized his humor and sense of fun would make him the perfect wingman—so good, in fact, that we created an entire series just to find out if a great wingman could really make a difference.”
