Venture capital firm Velocity Interactive Group named former Fox executive Mickie Rosen as an investment partner, the company announced today.
Ms. Rosen will focus on video, music, social media, publishing, games and online advertising at Velocity. The company makes investments in digital media and is a backer of the Web studio and management shop Generate.
Most recently, Ms. Rosen was senior VP and general manager for entertainment at Fox Interactive Media, where she oversaw the broadcast network’s initial online video efforts. She also played a role in the development of Hulu, the online video joint venture between Fox and NBC Universal.
