Sesame Workshop has expanded its marketing teams, naming Karen Driscoll as vice president of marketing services and Diana Polvere as vice president of market intelligence.
Ms. Driscoll will be responsible for development and execution of marketing plans, campaign ideas and programs supporting “Sesame Street” and “The Electric Company.”
She previously worked for Worldwide Biggies as a marketing consultant. She also spent nine years at Nickelodeon.
Ms. Polvere, who joins Sesame Workshop from American Express, will lead a team responsible for consumer market research, syndicated research and media research, providing producers and businesses with information on their audiences, markets, customers and competitive performance.
“Karen and Diana are both incredibly talented women, and we are thrilled to have them on our team,” Suzanne Duncan, VP of brand strategy and marketing group, said in a statement. “Their insight and expertise will guide us as we expand into new markets and further pursue and optimize alternative media platforms.”
