Fox Takes Second Straight NFL Ratings Crown

Fox drew the highest ratings among the networks that show NFL football for the second consecutive year.
Fox said its NFL games averaged a 10.5 Nielsen household rating and a 22 share CBS’s Sunday games drew a 10 ratings and 21 share.
Fox’s Sunday afternoon rating also beat the 10.2/16 NBC drew with its prime-time package. “Monday Night Football on ESPN averaged a 7.6/12.
Fox’s ratings were down from a 10.7 rating last year, a decline the network chalked up to the poor performance of the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers.
Late afternoon national games on Fox are the season’s highest rated program among adults 18 to 49, drawing an 8.2 rating. ABC’s “Desperate Housewives,” the second ranked show, averaged 6.7/15 in the demographic.
