HD programming picks for Dec. 18-24: “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” “Miracle on 34th Street” and “Shrek the Halls”
“Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” (Starz) Sat., Dec. 20, 8 a.m.: Kevin McCallister (played by Macaulay Culkin) is alone again and in New York City, where he must foil the Wet Bandits (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern) in their attempt to rob a toy store.
“Miracle on 34th Street” (HBO2) Tues., Dec. 23, 6 a.m.: The 1994 remake of the 1947 classic stars “Jurassic Park’s” Richard Attenborough as Kris Kringle, who is fighting to prove he is the real McCoy, or Santa.
“Shrek the Halls” (ABC) Mon., Dec. 22, 8 p.m.: Shrek’s holiday plans are upended as Donkey, Puss in Boots and the rest of the fairy-tale gang try to horn in on his festivities.
