Cowboys’ Irvin Creating Reality Show for Spike

Jan 22, 2009  •  Post A Comment

Former Dallas Cowboy Michael Irvin is working with 3 Ball Productions to create a reality show for Spike TV, the network said.
The show will feature Irvin on-air as he works with 12 amateurs competing for a spot at the Cowboys’ training camp next summer.
Other Cowboy personalities, including team owner Jerry Jones, are expected to appear on the series, which is scheduled to premiere in the spring.
“This is one of the biggest ideas we have heard and speaks straight to one of our viewers’ favorite sports, football,” said Sharon Levy, Spike senior VP for original series. “Michael’s passion and 3 Ball’s storytelling ability is sure to make this one of our biggest shows ever.”

  1. How, when and where are they going to have the try-outs for the reality show?
    Thanks,

  2. Really!? Unless you’re a diehard Cowboy fan, which I am not, can we please just stick with a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader show. Seems that would fit the Spike demo. even better, but that’s just me.

  3. whens the tryouts, this is cool, its like that Mark Walburg movie.

  4. When are try-outs? This would be a dream come true. I’ve played college football from 2003-2006, I have 2 conference rings and several accolades ranging from conference to national and all im looking for is an opportunity to play my motto is “All I need is a chance.”

  5. I just want to know where the tryouts are being held so that I can take advantage of this ONCE IN A LIFETIME oppourtunity. I have been playing this game I love dearly since little league and due to many obstacles I’ve had to over come I’ve never had the chance to show the world what I can do and how great an asset I can be to this game. If I was given this chance to Prove myself, I KNOW I WILL NOT FAIL!!!

  6. whats the word????-when,s all of this????-PUT ME IN THE GAME

  7. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
