HD programming picks for Jan. 15-21: “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Lost,” “Lie to Me”
“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” (CBS) Thurs., Jan. 15, 9 p.m.: Grissom is on the case for the last time as William Petersen’s tenure on “CSI” draws to a close. Laurence Fishburne steps in as the lead investigator after Grissom’s departure.
“Lost” (ABC) Wed., Jan. 21, 9 p.m.: The castaways are set to go back to the island as “Lost” enters its fifth season. Will Locke live again? What’s happened to Sawyer and Juliet? Why does Daniel wear a tie on a tropical island?
“Lie to Me” (Fox) Wed., Jan. 21, 9:03 p.m.: Tim Roth plays Dr. Cal Lightman, an expert at reading facial expressions for lies. In the premiere, Dr. Lightman and his team are hired by the Democratic National Committee to investigate the House’s Ethics Committee chairman for paying for sex.
