Propelled by awards shows and the WWE, MyNetworkTV last week continued its streak as the only broadcast network to show household ratings growth year-over-year for every week this broadcast season.
The network averaged a 1.0 household rating, an 11% increase over last year. It was the 15th consecutive week that the network showed growth year over year. MyNet also averaged a 0.6 rating among viewers 18-49, pulling in 1.7 million viewers on average for the week.
Last week also marked the sixth consecutive week MyNet averaged more total viewers than The CW, which finished the week with 1.3 million viewers.
Some of the week’s strongest performers for the network included an encore telecast of the “World Music Awards” (1.3 household rating, 0.7 rating among adults 18-49), “World Magic Awards” (1.2, 0.7) and “WWE Friday Night SmackDown!” (2.1, 1.2).
Most of the other broadcast networks aired repeats throughout the week.
