YES Network Ups Handler to VP Communications

YES Network has promoted Eric Handler to vice president of communications.
He will continue to be responsible for all corporate communications and programming publicity efforts for YES Network’s business, on-air and digital initiatives.
Mr. Handler joined YES in 2005 as the director of communications after working as director of corporate communications for CSTV. He also has served as director of publicity for the United States Tennis Association’s professional tennis unit, in addition to filling various positions at the Walt Disney Co.
“Eric has done a great job of developing and implementing strategic communications plans which have enhanced the value of YES in the eyes of our viewers and our business partners,” Ray Hopkins, chief operating officer of YES Network, said in a statement. “Eric will play a vital role as we continue to roll out new programming, production, sales and marketing initiatives, on our linear network and on various digital platforms.”
