Fox Sports Ohio Taps Ford Senior VP/GM

Fox Sports Ohio has appointed Henry S. Ford as its senior vice president and general manager.
Mr. Ford will be responsible for the production, programming, advertising sales, marketing and team relations at Fox Sports Ohio. He will work with Fox’s affiliate relations group on distribution issues.
He replaces Steve Liverani, who has been named general manager of Fox Sports Florida and Sun Sports.
Mr. Ford previously was general sales manager of Fox Sports Detroit. Before joining Fox Sports, he was senior director at the San Francisco Chronicle, overseeing marketing, media and public relations for the newspaper and SFGate.com. Mr. Ford also held a variety of executive positions at Gannett’s Detroit Newspaper Partnership, Tribune Co.’s Newsday and Knight Ridder’s San Jose Mercury News and Contra Costa Times.
