Lifetime announced it is picking up a fourth season of its original series “Army Wives.” The drama’s third season begins airing in June.
“This early pickup—even prior to the season-three premiere—is a true testament to our commitment and support of this great show,” said JoAnn Alfano, executive VP for entertainment at Lifetime Networks. “With Jeff Melvoin taking the reins as the executive producer, we are confident that the best episodes are yet to come.”
“Army Wives” is the top series in Lifetime’s 25-year history, setting ratings records in households and all key female demographics.
“Army Wives” is produced by ABC Studios for Lifetime Television. Mark Gordon and the Mark Gordon Co.’s president of production, Deborah Spera, are executive producers, along with Jeff Melvoin, Marshall Persinger and Harry Bring.

  1. I had never seen the show before. Then abc gave me a first year of Army Wives. I figured just to try it. Watched the entire season in 2 days. Then i got crazy because i missed the second season but now find you are repeating it for those who missed it. The third season i have written it all over my house so i don’t forget.
This show is so amazing. The characters — it’s just marvelous. I’ve been in the entertainment business (Executive Assistant) for over 35 years and i’m a pretty good judge of what’s good and what’s not. I tape it and hold it because i make special time just for that show without any interruptions…Thank you so much for giving us one of the most wonderful dramas i’ve seen in a long time…

  2. I was given the year one dvd, had never seen it, thought i’d give it a shot. Totally addicted, thank goodness the second season is being rerun now and i can’t wait til Season 3 and 4 which i just heard that you got a pickup. On of the best tv dramas i’ve ever watched.

  3. I really like the colors here on your blog. did you design this yourself or did you outsource it to a professional?

  4. Hey how are you doing? I just wanted to stop by and say that it’s been a pleasure reading your blog. I have bookmarked your website so that I can come back & read more in the future as well. plz do keep up the quality writing

  5. Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
