Newhart Chosen for NAB Hall of Fame

Actor-comedian Bob Newhart will be inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame by the National Association of Broadcasters.
Mr. Newhart will be recognized as part of the NAB Show Television Luncheon on April 20 in Las Vegas. The award will be presented by NAB President-CEO David K. Rehr.
Mr. Newhart is best known for his series “The Bob Newhart Show” and “Newhart.”
He began his career in entertainment in 1959 when he signed a recording contract with Warner Bros. He has since appeared in several TV series and 14 feature films and has sold millions of albums around the world.
Previous NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame inductees include Bob Barker, Regis Philbin, “Meet the Press” and “MASH.”
