Oscar.com is launching two new online series leading up to the 81st annual Academy Awards on Sunday.
The nine-episode Web series “Road to the Oscars” will debut a new episode every day through Feb. 23. Host Chris Harrison will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at pre-Oscar festivities, in addition to featuring exclusive interviews, fashion trends and breaking news.
Oscar.com also unveiled the Web series “Oscars Designer Challenge: Behind the Dress.” The series, hosted by “Project Runway” alum Nick Verreos, chronicles seven designers competing to have their dress worn by one of the awards escorts during the Feb. 22 telecast.
A post-Oscars episode will feature the winning designer and model team talking about their Oscar night experience.
Oscar.com also will host a Thank You Cam, Backstage Cam and Press Room Cam the night of the awards show.
