CBS Television has named Tiffany Smith-Anoa’i as vice president of diversity and communications.
In the newly created executive position on the West Coast, Ms. Smith-Anoa’i will help foster diversity efforts across the company, serving as a liaison to multicultural groups, guilds and other organizations. She will work with CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler on recruiting diverse talents for work behind and in front of the camera.
Ms. Smith-Anoa’i previously was the director of communications. She has spent nine years in CBS’ media relations and publicity department. Her new position will expand her role in the communications department.
She will be based in CBS’ West Coast headquarters in Studio City, Calif., reporting to Josie Thomas, senior VP of diversity for CBS Corp., and Chris Ender, senior VP of communications for CBS Television.
