Rainbow Media said it will be offering interactive advertising during this year’s upfront.
The interactive elements will be available to subscribers on cable systems owned by Rainbow parent Cablevision Systems.
“The interactive elements available to advertisers on Rainbow networks including AMC, WE tv, Sundance Channel and IFC, allow viewers to click for additional information, switch to custom content and channels or connect with a customer service representative using their remote controls,” said Arlene Manos, president, national ad sales for Rainbow.
Ms. Manos said that clients are eager to find ways to measure advertising effectiveness and viewer engagement with their messages and that being part of Cablevision gives Rainbow a way to better engage consumers.
