Romine Joins SAG as Director of Communications

The Screen Actors Guild has hired Damon Romine as the organization’s director of communications, effective April 1.
Mr. Romine joins SAG after serving as director of entertainment media for the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. Before that, he was a marketing and communications consultant for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation.
In his new role, Mr. Romine will specialize in everyday administration for the communications department. He also will write and edit for the organization’s Screen Actor magazine. He reports to communications executive director and spokeswoman Pamela Greenwalt, whom he also will support in SAG’s communications initiatives.
Mr. Romine will be based at the guild’s Los Angeles office.
