“The Steve Wilkos Show” will air a two-part series about issues confronting teen girls on March 26-27, tackling questions regarding drugs, teen pregnancy and social networking, NBC Universal Television Distribution said.
The shows were taped in front of an audience of nearly 200 girls between 14 and 17, with the teens’ parents watching in a separate area, the distribution company said.
“As the father of two young children and as a former police officer, I wanted to have an open, frank discussion with a group of teenage girls who are going through a critical time in their lives,” Mr. Wilkos said in a statement. “This was an emotional experience for all involved and I truly believe we made an impact on those in attendance. Now I hope these episodes have a similar impact on our TV audience.”
Some of Mr. Wilkos’ guests on these shows include a 17-year-old heroin addict and a girl who was shamed after posting a video to an Internet social networking site.

  1. I would like to recive a copy of March 26 & 27 2009 show.

  2. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

  3. Love the blog here. Nice colors. I am definitely staying tuned to this one. Hope to see more.
