Buzz Media Inc., a community of pop culture Web sites, has appointed Alan Citron as president.
Mr. Citron will oversee programming, marketing, engineering and product development for the company’s 30-plus Web sites. Anthony Batt, founder and president of Buzz Media, now will serve as chief creative officer, focusing on targeted strategic initiatives.
Mr. Citron previously was a senior adviser to Buzz Media, a position he has held since August 2008. He also was founding general manager of TMZ, founding president of Ticketmaster Online and president of USA Networks Interactive. He is a former Los Angeles Times reporter and editor.
Additionally, Karina Kogan has been promoted to executive VP of marketing at Buzz Media. She had been general manager since January 2008.
Buzz Media’s portfolio of Web sites includes Buzznet, Celebuzz, the Superficial, Stereogum, WWTDD and Absolute Punk.

Now, Rush played out movies of Barack obama and Hillary Clinton as well as Dems and then also played movies from Ahmadinejad’s address and pointed out that they mutually say the same things when ever speaking about Usa and capitalism.
