Sam Linsky has been promoted to senior vice president of current programming for TNT and TBS.
Mr. Linsky previously was VP of current programming for TNT. He oversaw the production of many of TNT’s current series, including “The Closer,” “Saving Grace,” “Raising the Bar” and “Leverage.”
He will continue to report to Michael Wright, executive VP/head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies.
Mr. Linsky joined TNT in 1997 from Castle Rock Entertainment, working his way up at TNT from an assistant to the VP of original programming to manager and then director.
“Sam is an outstanding executive and an essential member of our team,” Mr. Wright said in a statement. “He’s made key contributions to the growth and continued success of TNT’s original programming, and the relationships he has developed with our creative partners are invaluable. In this new role, we are acknowledging and formalizing his leadership role at Turner.”
