Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution will present an eight-week trial run of “Beyond Twisted,” a show from the producers of “TMZ,” on the Fox Television Stations this summer.
Premiering July 6, “Twisted” will use “professional and user-generated content to present an irreverent and funny take on jaw-dropping moments from around the world,” according to a release for the program.
The show will air on WNYW-TV in New York, KTTV-TV in Los Angeles, KDFW-TV in Dallas-Fort Worth, WJBK-TV in Detroit, KSAZ-TV in Phoenix and KMSP-TV in Minneapolis/St. Paul.
According to producers, “Twisted” also will involve cross-promotional material, including prerecorded spots for local newscasts.
The show is produced by Harvey Levin Productions in association with Telepictures Productions and distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
Harvey Levin is “Twisted’s” executive producer, with “TMZ” executive producer Jim Paratore serving as an executive consultant.
