Nexstar Stations Renew Affiliation Agreement With CBS

IRVING, Texas– Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NXST) announced today that it has entered into long-term agreements through December 2018 with the CBS Television Network for eight stations that it owns and operates. The Nexstar-owned CBS-affiliated stations include KLBK in Lubbock, Texas; KLST in San Angelo, Texas; KTAB in Abilene-Sweetwater, Texas; WCIA in Champaign-Springfield-Decatur, Illinois; WFRV in Green Bay, Wisconsin; WJMN in Marquette, Michigan; WMBD in Peoria-Bloomington, Illinois; and WROC in Rochester, New York. In addition, Mission Broadcasting, Inc. has entered into a new long-term affiliation agreement for its CBS-affiliated station KOLR in Springfield, Missouri.

Our affiliation with CBS combined with our stations’ market-leading local news and unique community-focused programming allows us to deliver great entertainment and information to viewers as well as superior marketing solutions for advertisers.”

Nexstar owns, operates, or provides services to 11 CBS-affiliated stations. The previous affiliation agreements for the nine stations expired at various times in 2012, 2013 and 2014. The CBS affiliation agreements for WTAJ in Johnstown-Altoona, Pennsylvania and WYOU in Wilkes Barre-Scranton, Pennsylvania (owned by Mission) follow separate renewal schedules and are due to expire in June 2016 and June 2015, respectively.
