From one shocking headline to the next, each hour-long episode of National Enquirer Investigates unfolds through gripping interviews, vivid recreations, newly discovered evidence and explosive archival documents and photos. All of the facts and theories surrounding these mysteries are presented with a fresh perspective and subjected to new scrutiny in search of the final revelation on these iconic stories of our time. On May 28 at 9pm ET/ PT, the premiere episode will unravel the sordid mystery that continues to surround Marilyn Monroe’s shocking death, just days before what would have been her 90th birthday, June 1. Monroe was the sex symbol, a modern Venus famed for her bombshell looks and romantically linked to some of the most powerful – and dangerous – men of her time. When she was found dead in her Hollywood bungalow at the age of 36, the whole world was stunned, and fans wanted answers. Her death was ruled a “probable suicide,” but soon troubling details emerged, suggesting the reason for her death was even darker: Was the star of Some Like It Hot, Seven Year Itch and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes actually murdered? If so, were her killers working for the mob? The Kennedy family? Or even both? Through groundbreaking investigative technology and newly released evidence, National Enquirer Investigates will uncover new and explosive revelations about one of Hollywood’s most enduring mysteries.
Other upcoming episode subjects include the real story behind Charlie Sheen’s bombshell HIV announcement and the controversy surrounding Elvis Presley’s death.
