ABC Leads Next Season’s Crop of New Series With the Top 3 Most-Watched Trailers

In the week following this year’s Upfronts, trailers for ABC’s Fall freshman series have emerged as the most-watched across social media platforms, with the Network delivering the Top 3 most-watched trailers among the new series for the official 2019-2020 broadcast season.

With a commanding 16 million views across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube (16,122,544), ABC’s “Stumptown” stands as the No. 1 most-watched trailer among next season’s new series, followed closely by ABC’s “Emergence” with nearly 16 million video views (15,710,592). In fact, “Emergence” averaged over 5 million more views than the nearest drama trailer (NBC’s “Bluff City Law” = 10,331,039).

ABC’s “mixed-ish” ranked as the No. 3 most-watched new series trailer (behind only ABC’s “Stumptown” and “Emergence,” respectively) and as the No. 1 new comedy trailer with over 14.5 million views (14,656,722).
