A Comcast-led group created to provide a standard format for interactive advertising across the largest cable companies isn’t a joint venture, as previously reported, Multichannel News reports, citing a cable executive it didn’t identify. The so-called Project Canoe is “more like an intercompany coalition than a JV,” the magazine reports, citing the executive.
