Emmys Make Local Call in Move to Nokia

The Emmy Awards will move to Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater from the Shrine Auditorium this September, Daily Variety reports. The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences signed a 10-year agreement with Nokia owner Anschutz Entertainment Group. The Academy also plans to move the Governors Ball, which takes place after the show, to the neighboring L.A. Convention Center, the newspaper says.
