HBO ordered pilot episodes of “Suburban Shootout,” directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, and Darren Star’s “Diary of a Manhattan Call Girl,” the Hollywood Reporter says. “Shootout,” written by Michelle Ashford, is based on a U.K. series that ran for two seasons starting in 2006, while “Diary” is based on a memoir by former call girl Tracy Quan, the newspaper reports.
