DirecTV delayed the launch of a satellite set to be sent into space yesterday in order “to study an issue,” Multichannel News reports, citing the launching system’s Web site. Meanwhile, a recent satellite launch by competitor Dish Network didn’t reach its planned orbit, reducing the satellite company’s ability to add HD channels, the Wall Street Journal reports.
