TV Shooting Still Down After Strike Ends

Los Angeles television-shooting permits for the three weeks after the end of the Writers Guild of America strike fell from a year earlier for most series types, Daily Variety reports. Citing stats from permitting agency FilmL.A., dramas, sitcoms and pilots are all down more than 45%, while reality-show permits rose 19% from a year earlier, the newspaper says. Feature-film permits jumped 62%, Variety says.
