Worldwide Ad Sales Get Olympic Boost

Worldwide television advertising sales will rise 5.8% to $123 billion this year as the Beijing Summer Olympics will more than offset spending pullbacks from the economic slowdown, the Hollywood Reporter says, citing a new report from Informa. North American ad sales will fall while overseas demand for TV ads will increase, the newspaper reports.
