Movie and television studios are likely to meet with the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists before talking to the larger Screen Actors Guild because previous informal discussions with SAG were unproductive, Daily Variety reports. AFTRA, which ended its joint bargaining arrangement with SAG last weekend, may start negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers as soon as this week, the newspaper says.
