The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists will start negotiations for a prime-time contract with the networks and studios April 28, 13 days after the Screen Actors Guild starts its talks. The start date allows “SAG sufficient time to work out a good deal with the studios,” AFTRA President Roberta Reardon said in a statement Wednesday on the union’s Web site.
