Cable Ads Go Negative

A spate of commercials from companies including Time Warner, DirecTV and Verizon take public shots at their rivals’ offerings as competition for customers heats up, reports the Wall Street Journal. Time Warner Cable is rolling out a spot today featuring a boy genius trying to decipher a phone company bill.
