Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s positions on media issues include concerns about consolidation, encouragement of an improved ratings system and criticism of advertisements encouraging unhealthy foods for children, TelevisionWeek reports. Republican candidate John McCain led a senate committee that oversaw the Federal Communications Commission while fellow Democratic candidate Barack Obama has focused on minority-based media ownership, the magazine says.
