P&G May Pull Ads From MTV, BET

Procter & Gamble may pull ads from MTV and BET after watchdog groups criticized the channels for what they say are showing too much sex and violence in their music videos, Multichannel News reports. P&G is letting customers call into an 800 number, where they can say whether the company should either keep or stop its advertising on MTV and BET, Multichannel News says.

  1. MTV and BET need to have the reigns pulled on them. Proctor & Gamble can certainly Slow The Cash Flow, (STCF).
These network purveyors of flesh, sleeze, violence and drug usage by visual innuendo, will only tone it down by cuts in revenue.
Our Queen City boys and girls at P&G can stem the dollar flow, I hope they do.
The de-sensitisation of our youth that is occuring 24/7 on these, and other “networks” must be called to a halt.
    STCF Today!

  2. i am a tv producer. i have been in the “mtv world” for many years now.
let me tell you something… no matter what they say, they program for “tweens”. and what they decide to go ahead and produce… it not appropriate for a 12 yr old. BJ’s and drugs are not the stuff kids should be mainstreamed with.
the place is immoral. and run by people that see viewers just as pocketbooks.

  3. I wish to complain about the homosexual endorsements of Proctor & Gamble.
I called the 800 number given to voice my concerns, but it was no longer available.
