Reality Workers to Decry Conditions

Workers from reality-television shows such as “American Idol” and “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” will hold a news conference today at a California Labor Department building in Los Angeles decrying working conditions, the Writers Guild of America, West, said. Workers say reality-show producers owe them more than $500,000 in overtime and other penalties.
