Senators Tell FCC Head to Refocus

Apr 9, 2008  •  Post A Comment

U.S. senators told Federal Communications Commission Chairman Kevin Martin to focus more on next February’s transition to digital broadcasts and less on cable-television mandates, Multichannel News reports. Issues such as a la carte cable pricing and net neutrality are “solutions looking for a problem,” said Alaska Senator Ted Stevens.

  1. Well, what about the premature FCC action in ‘selling’ channel 55 in San Diego and ordering KFMB off it? They are forced to run low power on ‘shared’ channel 7 for the rest of this year, depriving thousands of viewers HDTV until next
    February. What about that eh??

  2. I like this site presented and it has given me some sort of desire to have success for some reason, so thanks.
