Yahoo and Time Warner’s AOL are discussing a deal to combine their Internet operations, while News Corp. is considering joining Microsoft, which has already made a bid for Yahoo, in a sweetened offer, the Wall Street Journal reports. In a deal with Yahoo, Time Warner would make a cash investment in return for 20% of the combined entity of Yahoo and AOL, the newspaper said.
