On air freakouts by TV news anchors are very popular on the Web, with sites showing clips of recent rants by anchors Bill O’Reilly of Fox News Channel and Sue Simmons of WNBC-TV, New York, drawing hundreds of thousands of hits, according to the New York Observer. The clips, once available only to industry insiders, fit in with a public mood of cutting media big shots down to size, the paper says.
