In a survey of 100 senior executives by Accenture, 62% said revenue from digital advertising would eclipse traditional ad revenue in the next five years, Media Daily News reports. Currently, Internet media makes up less than 10% of marketing budgets. Also, two-thirds of the surveyed executives lack the necessary capabilities to take full advantage of the digital ad market, the Web site says.
