HBO Gets Preston for Sonnenfeld Series

HBO signed Kelly Preston to star in the Barry Sonnenfeld-directed comedy pilot “Suburban Shootout,” the Hollywood Reporter says. Meanwhile, Adam Goldberg will be featured in the ABC drama/comedy “The Unusuals,” the newspaper says. Finally, USA Network brought on Danielle Nicolet to play opposite Debra Messing in “The Starter Wife,” the Reporter says.

  1. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
