John Malone’s Liberty Media dropped an appeal against a ruling allowing IAC/InterActiveCorp’s Barry Diller to break up that company into five parts, which cuts Malone’s IAC voting rights, Daily Variety reports. Liberty will have the right to have a representative on the board of each of IAC’s new companies, the magazine says.
