O’Reilly GE Attacks Have History

May 20, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Fox News star Bill O’Reilly’s attacks on the CEO of General Electric may be the latest outbreak in a feud with NBC and anchor Keith Olbermann of MSNBC, the Washington Post says. Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes called NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker last summer to halt jibes about Mr. O’Reilly by Mr. Olbermann, the paper says.

  1. Oh, please…”Daddy” Roger had to make a call to Jeff because Big, Bad Bill couldn’t take Keith’s verbal pot shots?
Honestly, get out the sandbox if you can’t take some sand dusting after throwing buckets of it.
Mr. Olbermann, do the country a favor and continue being who you are. Thank you for your forthrightness. Vice President Haliburton may not like having his clock cleaned verbally, but he’s earned leg irons and a long sentence and should restrain from complaining. Dubya deserves a matching pair in an adjacent cell. Of the two, only the VP will be angry ’cause he knows what he did to deserve Federal Housing, his “boss” will be as clueless there as he’s been in the West Wing.

  2. Way to go, Peter! I could not agree more. O’Reilly is reprehensible, and we sorely need Olbermann to keep at it tirelessly. Keith is a national treasure.

  3. You should remember that all of this Fox/MSNBC turmoil is at our expense for ratings. All of the news shows are shams. All of them have a slant to target their demographic market for ad sales. However, in the process it does make great comedy/drama! 😉

  4. Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

  5. do you mind if i re-tweet this?
