The Screen Actors Guild and the Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers entered what is likely their final day of negotiations today with a self-imposed deadline of 5 p.m., Daily Variety reports. A deal does not seem close as the actors and producers remain divided by SAG’s insistence on better new-media terms than those won by the directors and writers unions, the newspaper says. The producers are scheduled to begin negotiations with the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists on Wednesday.
