Sci Fi Channel signed Esai Morales to its new “Battlestar Galactica” prequel “Caprica,” the Hollywood Reporter says. Mr. Morales will play the father of what would become Edward James Olmos’ character in “Galactica,” the newspaper reports. Meanwhile, Showtime added Peter Facinelli to the cast of the untitled pilot starring Edie Falco, the Reporter says.
