NBC Universal is spreading its Sci Fi Channel to foreign markets, the New York Times reports. Coordinates are set to put local versions of the network in Turkey, South Africa, Romania, Hungary and Portugal. “For an international standpoint, we really have two global brands,” NBCU CEO Jeff Zucker said, identifying CNBC and Sci Fi. “Business is universal. And science fiction is such a well-known global genre.”
